?What happened on Ashura

In The Name of God

 

He was not an ordinary man. His name was Husayn. He is the son of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib ,1st Shia Imam. He stood up against oppressors and he is a role model for freemen in the world in sacrifice, freedom, liberty and resistance. We call him Imam, Imam means leader and rector. In the year 61 AH (a way of calculating year based on the position of the moon), Imam Husayn along with his wife, children and siblings went to Kufa from Mecca, in order to respond to the people of Kufa as their request. More than 4000 people of Kufa wrote a letter to Imam Husayn and asked him to come to Kufa and rescue them from cruelness and injustice of their king "yazid" and bring justice, goodness and beauty. Yazid was a cruel leader and he took people's properties by force and represented Islam in an unrealistic and cruel way. Actually he did not know anything of real Islam , he did whatever he liked and whatever benefited him and didn`t obey the commands of God. He was a friend of the evil and he was an enemy of God. He was breaking a lot of absolute laws in Islam himself!! So people of Kufa asked for help, and Imam Husayn answered them. Yazid prevented the people of Kufa to join Imam Husayn by force and threat. On the other hand he prevented Imam Husayn to enter the capital so Imam had to stay in a midway that land called "Karbala". In Karbala, cruel yazid along with ten thousands soldiers and military men stood against him and ordered his army to start a fight with Imam Husayn. Imam , his wife , his children, siblings and his companions were only 72 people!! There were only 72 people with Husaym against three thousands of soldiers! But their cruelty did not stop here; they surrounded the river and did not let Husayn's companions even the children and women drink water!! That was not a fair war. Yazid told Imam Husayn, if you want me to stop killing you and not to imprison your family, you should  accept me as a ruler.consider that Husayn (pbuh) is Imam , It means He is the leader and the Master(Wali) who is selected by God. So he cannot confirm the person who breaks the Moral and Islamic laws as an Islamic governor So Husayn obviously did not accept his offer and told him that "dying with dignity is better than living in humiliation". Then Yazid (God never forgive him) attacked Imam Husayn and his few companions with his huge army. Imam's companions were martyred one by one. One of Imam's son whose name was "Ali Akbar" started fighting and killing some of the enemies, but a lot of Yazid's army attacked him , tore him limb from limb and cut his head off! All Imam's companions were martyred and their heads were cut off while they were thirsty. After Ali Akbar, Imam's nephew "Ghasem" went to the battlefield. He was only 13 years old but he fought like a brave fighter. Ghasem killed 3 soldiers of enemy but then they martyred him and they showered him with stones and then they cut his head off! The last brother of Imam wanted to go to the battlefield but the youngest daughter of Imam asked him to bring water because they were so thirsty that they cannot tolerate. Imam's brother was "Abbas", he was a brave strong fighter. Yazid forces were scared of him . They were gripped by fear when they heard his name. Abbas found the way to the river to bring water for innocent children. When he arrived near the river, all the enemies ran away. Abbas filled his leathern bottle with water and guided his horse toward kids but enemy soldiers tried to stop him by shooting arrows .They cut his right hand off first, Abbas held the leathern bottle with his left hand and kept going his way but enemies cut his left hand too. He had no hands to take the leathern bottle so he took it with his teeth and ran toward kids to give it to them but enemies shot an arrow to his eye and another to his leathern bottle. The arrow tore the leathern bottle and all water spilt on the ground. The enemy smashed his head with an iron hammer. Abbas could not give water to the children and was martyred. Imam had an infant, "Ali Asghar".  When Imam Husayn saw his companions and friends were martyred and nobody was there. He decided to enter the battle and said: “Is there any worshiper of God to fear of the Lord? Is there anyone to help us for God?” Imam Husayn went next to the tent. "please give me my infant. I want to tell him goodbye too" He said his sister; Zainab. Zainab s.a gave him the baby. Ali Asghar was thirsty and hungry. Imam Husayn was a man of great love and compassion. He wanted to kiss the baby that suddenly was shot by an arrow. One of the enemies shot an arrow that pierced his throat. He took his hands under his throat. He filled his hands with his blood and threw it to the sky. No drops of his blood fell down on the ground. Imam got so sad and buried the infant there. Imam Husayn said goodbye to his wife ,children and sisters. He went to the battle field and killed several cruel enemies. But they shot at him wickedly .Imam slumped onto the ground.Enemies imagined that Imam Husayn was martyred .The commander of enemy troops ordered to attack tents.When Imam saw this scene ,leaned on his sword ,lifting himself and cried:" If you do not believe in any religion that at least be free in this world. "But they kept on savaging and rode over his wounded body .Then they attacked women and children and imprisoned them. Imam Husayn (pbuh) gave everything he had to save Islam .Unless he did it ,people would not be aware .Unless he did it ,Yazid's government would not become unstable and it would not be overthrown. Yazid misled people into thinking that Islam was cruel religion . Imam Husayn stood against him. Imam Husayn is the epitome of freedom and frankness that he didn't unite with tyrants.

Today Daesh and AlQaeda also try to show that Islam is cruel religion. But they kill the friends of Imam Husayn and cut their heads off

بسم الله الرحمن الرحیم

او یک انسان معمولی نبود .نامش حسین بود . او فرزند امام اول شیعیان بود. او کسی بود که در برابر ستمگران ایستاد و الگوی فداکاری ، آزادی ، آزادگی و ایستادگی در برابر ظلم برای همه آزادگان دنیاست. ما او را امام میخوانیم . امام به معنی راهنما و پیشواست . امام حسین در سال 61 قمری به همراه همسر و فرزندان و خواهرانش از از شهر مکه به شهر کوفه حرکت کرد تا به درخواست مردم کوفه پاسخ دهد. 4000 نفر از مردم کوفه برای امام حسین نامه نوشتند و از او درخواست کردند که به کوفه بیاید و آن ها را از ظلم و ستم آن حاکم که یزید نام داشت نجات دهد و عدل و خوبی و زیبایی را در جهان به پا کند. یزید حاکم ستمگری بود که بر مردم ستم میکرد و اموال آنان را به زور میگرفت و چهره ای خشن و غیر واقعی از اسلام نشان میداد.  در واقع او چیزی از اسلام حقیقی نمی دانست و هرچه دوست داشت و برایش منفعت داشت را انجام می داد نه آنچه خدا دستور داده بود.. او دوست شیطان و دشمن خدا بود. او مهمترین قوانین اسلام را خودش زیر پا می گذاشت!! بنابراین مردم کوفه تقاضای کمک کردند و امام حسین به درخواست آنها پاسخ داد. یزید با استفاده از زور و تهدید و ترس جلوی مردم را از پیوستن به امام حسین گرفت.  از طرفی هم به امام حسین اجازه نداد وارد پایتخت شود و او ناچار شد در سرزمینی به نام کربلا بماند . در آنجا، یزید ستمگر و زورگو با ده ها هزار سرباز و جنگنده در برابرش ایستاد و دستور به جنگ با امام حسین داد. امام حسین به همراه همسر، فرزندان، خواهران، برادران و یارانش تنها 72 نفر بودند. سپاه حسین 72 نفر و سپاه یزید سه هزار نفر. اما ظلم و بی رحمی در همینجا تمام نمی شود؛ آنها دور تا دور رودخانه رامحاصره کردند و به حسین و یارانش، حتی کودکان و زنان اجازه ندادند که آب بنوشند!! این یک جنگ نا عادلانه بود. یزید به امام حسین گفت اگر میخواهی من از کشتن شما دست بردارم و خانواده ات را به اسارت نبرم، باید مرا به عنوان حاکم اسلامی به رسمیت بشناسی و با من متحد شوی (این حقیقت را در نظر بگیرید که حسین امام است، یعنی راهنما و سرپرستی که از جانب خدا انتخاب شده،پس نمیتواند فردی را که دستورات اسلامی واخلاقی را رعایت نمیکند به عنوان یک مسئول در کشور اسلامی تایید کند) اما امام حسین پیشنهاد او را قبول نکرد و گفت مرگ با عزت بهتر از زندگی با ذلت است. سپس یزید که (لعنت خدا بر او باد) به همراه سه هزار نفر به امام حسین و یاران اندکش حمله کردند . یاران امام حسین یکی پس از دیگری شهید شدند .  یکی از پسران امام حسین که علی اکبر نام داشت ، شروع به مقابله با دشمن کرد و چندین نفر از آنان را به هلاکت رساند اما تعداد زیادی از دشمنان به او حمله کردند و بدنش را قطعه قطعه کردند و سر از بدنش جدا نمودند . تمام یاران امام حسین با لبان تشنه شهید شدند و سرشان از تنشان جدا شد. بعد از علی اکبر پسر برادر امام حسین به نام قاسم به میدان جنگ رفت . او 13 سال بیشتر نداشت ولی همچون یک مرد جنگی شجاع جنگید. قاسم 3 نفر از دشمنان را به هلاکت رساند و سپس شهید شد ، بدنش سنگ باران شد و سر از تنش جدا شد. آخرین برادر امام حسین میخواست به میدان جنگ برود اما دختر کوچک امام حسین از عموی خود تقاضای آب کرد . چون کودکان، دیگر نمی توانستند تشنگی را تحمل کنند. برادر امام حسین که عباس نام داشت در جنگجویی قوی و شجاع بود . تمام لشکر دشمن از وی میترسیدند و از نامش وحشت داشتند . عباس راهی به سمت رودخانه پیدا کرد تا برای آن کودکان بی گناه آب بیاورد. وقتی رسید همه دشمنان پا به فرار گذاشتند . عباس آب برداشت و با اسب خود به طرف بچه ها رفت اما در راه بازگشت از رودخانه دشمنان به سمتش تیر پرتاب کردند تا او را متوقف کنند.  ابتدا دست راست او را قطع کردند، ولی عباس مشک را به دست چپش سپرد و به راهش ادامه داد ولی دشمنان دست چپ عباس را نیز قطع کردند . عباس دستی نداشت که مشک را بگیرد و به ناچار مشک آب را به دندان گرفت و به سمت بچه ها دوید تا آب را به آنها برساند اما به نا گاه تیری به چشم و تیری به مشک عباس زدند . مشک سوراخ شد و آب بر زمین ریخت . عباس از اسب با صورت به زمین خورد. دشمن با گرزی آهنین به سرش کوبید .  عباس نتوانست آب را به بچه های بی گناه برساند و شهید شد. امام حسین یک فرزند شیرخواره  به نام علی اصغر داشت . هنگامى که امام حسین علیه السلام، شهادت یاران و محبوبانش را دید و دیگر کسی باقی نمانده بود تصمیم گرفت که خود به میدان برود و ندا داد:  "آیا دادرسى هست که به خاطر خدا، به داد ما برسد؟  آیا یارى دهنده اى هست که به خاطر خدا، ما را یارى دهد؟"  امام حسین به سمت خیمه آمد و به خواهرش زینب(س) گفت: «طفل شیرخوار مرا بیاور برای اینکه می خواهم با او هم، وداع و خداحافظی بکنم. زینب (س) می رود طفل شیرخوار اباعبدالله را می آورد. آثار گرسنگی و تشنگی در چهره علی اصغر(ع) پیدا بود. امام حسین که کانون محبت است طفل را گرفت و مى خواست او را ببوسد که ناگهان دشمنان امام حسین به سمت کودک تیری پرتاب کردند که در گلوی طفل نشست.  امام حسین دستانش را زیر گلوى کودکش گرفت تا پُر شدند. سپس خون را به سوی آسمان پاشید و یک قطره از آن به زمین بازنگشت. امام حسین بی تاب شد بچه را در دست گرفت و اورا همانجا به خاک سپرد
. سپس امام حسین با همسر و کودکان و خواهران خود خداحافظی کرد . امام حسین به میدان رفت و چندین نفر از دشمنان بیرحم را کشت اما دشمن به صورت نا جوانمردانه به وی تیراندازی کرد و امام حسین به زمین افتاد . دشمنان حسین تصور کردند امام را کشته اند، فرمانده سپاه دشمن دستور داد به سمت خیمه ها هجوم ببرند. امام وقتی این صحنه را دید با تکیه بر شمشیر خود بلند شد و ندا داد: اگر دین ندارید لااقل ازاده باشید. اما آنها کارهای غیرانسانی خود را تمام نکردند و با اسب بر روی بدن بی جانش تاختند . آنگاه به طرف بچه ها و زنان حمله کردند و آنان را به اسارت بردند . امام حسین سومین امام ما است . امام حسین که درود خدا بر او باد برای ماندن و از بین نرفتن دین اسلام جانش را فدا کرد . چرا که اگر این اقدام امام حسین نبود و مردم بیدار و آگاه نمیشدند و حکومت یزید متزلزل و پس از مدتی نابود نمیشد نه تنها اسلام که جوانمردی و انسانیت هم برای همیشه نابود میشد. یزید حاکم ستمگر آن زمان چهره اسلام را خشن جلوه میداد و امام حسین با او به مخالفت برخاست. امام حسین مظهر آزادی و آزادگی است که حاضر شد بمیرد ولی با ستمگران متحد نشود . امروزه نیز داعش و القاعده همچون یزید چهره خشنی از اسلام نشان میدهند و پیروان و دوست داران امام حسین را میکشد و سر از تنشان جدا میکند.
